Victoria Aitken

Singer and songwriter Victoria Aitken known for transcending her cultural observations into music, returns to Monaco to sing at the inaugural Infiniti Podium Lounge event having performed at The Podium Lounge in Abu Dhabi in 2013. She recently shot her music video for ‘Neon Nights’ – in the UAE. The song was co-written and produced by longtime collaborator, Marc JB (of Bimbo Jones), who continues to achieve #1 dance chart positions re-mixing Kylie Minogue, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

Victoria used the Emirates’ city lighting and night-time vibe as both backdrop and central character to her song. With the neon style gaining mass appeal in 2012 – worn by J. Lo, Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole – the trend is maintaining its influence in warmer winter climates such as the Emirates. The UAE’s most celebrated designer, Ayesha Depala provided the wardrobe for the video shoot and Aitken used the renowned Sister’s Beauty Lounge, for her hair and makeup.

Victoria recently performed her new song at the ’24 Hour Dancefloor’ party at Boujis in London.

Victoria is renowned in England for her tongue and cheek lyrics, her top 10 UK Dance Hits: “Queen of the House” which reached #5, “Vicky from the Yacht” which echoed her riches to rags tale and 2012’s “Fashion Boy”, a tribute to supermodel Andrej Pejic.

Her latest song “Weekend Lover” appears as the lead song in Whit Stillman’s highly received “Damsels in Distress” and has provided her crossover into the US market.

Check out her live performance at The Infiniti Podium Lounge over the Grand Prix de Monaco Weekend.
